# Enhanced DHCP Option Control for Managed Private Networks via CLI

<p class="">Exoscale's Managed Private Networks now support more granular DHCP configurations, providing enhanced control over network settings through the CLI. This update includes:</p>

<ul>
  <li><p class=""><strong>DNS Servers</strong> (DHCP Option 6): Specifies DNS server IPs for domain name resolution.</p></li>
  <li><p class=""><strong>Domain Search List</strong> (DHCP Option 119): Supplies a list of domain suffixes, supporting multi-domain environments (limited to 255 octets).</p></li>
  <li><p class=""><strong>NTP Servers</strong> (DHCP Option 42): Defines IPs for time synchronization with NTP servers.</p></li>
  <li><p class=""><strong>Default Gateway (Router)</strong> (DHCP Option 3): Sets the IP of the default gateway for external traffic.</p></li>

<p class="">These features are currently available in the CLI but not yet in the Portal. Further updates will follow as these options are integrated into other interfaces.</p>
