# SKS supports OpenID & Taints

<p class="">Our <a href="https://www.exoscale.com/sks/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Scalable Kubernetes Service (SKS)</a> is constantly evolving. With our latest <b>feature update</b> we now support <a href="https://community.exoscale.com/documentation/sks/getting-further/#openid-connect" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">OpenID Connect</a> as authentication method. This gives customers <b>enhanced access control</b> to the SKS clusters. </p><div class="medium-insert-images"><figure>

</figure></div><p class="">Additionally, SKS now also supports <a href="https://community.exoscale.com/documentation/sks/getting-further/#labels" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">labels</a> and <a href="https://community.exoscale.com/documentation/sks/getting-further/#taints" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">taints</a>. <b>Taints</b> can be associated to your nodepool workers during cluster creation. By using taints customers have the possibility to repel sets of pods on a node. Together with Tolerations this ensures that pods are not scheduled onto inappropriate nodes.</p>
