Following the recent SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, Exoscale obtained its BSI C5 attestation this month solidifying its compliance for the German market and beyond.
C5, which stands for Cloud Computing Compliance Criteria Catalogue, was established by the Federal Office for Information Security(BSI) in Germany. This German government-backed attestation scheme introduced in 2016 and recently updated provides an additional complement to ISO 27018 and other international cloud security standards.
As is most often the case, all of Exoscale's zones and products are fully covered under this framework and the attestation is available for download in the Compliance Center.
