What's new on Exoscale

We’re excited to announce that Valkey, a fully open-source, drop-in replacement for Redis®, will soon be available on Exoscale!

Why Valkey?

Valkey, maintained by the Linux Foundation, is fully backward-compatible with Redis 7.2.4.

It offers caching, message queues, and persistent key-value storage, with planned optimizations to improve performance and scalability.

What’s Next?

• The full release of Valkey on Exoscale is planned for early 2025.
• A detailed migration guide will ensure a smooth transition from Redis to Valkey.
